Brenda was born in Swift Current and has spent the majority of her life here. Before joining the team at STRIDE, Brenda worked for the Swift Current Broncos organization for several years.
Brenda has two grown children and 4 grandchildren that keep her busy. Her son lives in Regina and works for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He lives in Regina with his spouse and together they have one daughter and one son. Her daughter lives here in Swift Current with her spouse and together they have two boys. Interesting fact: her son-in-law is 6’5″!
Brenda loves watching sports, both live and on TV – with football and baseball being her biggest passions. She is a huge fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and of course, the Toronto Blue Jays. She counts herself very lucky to have been able to watch each of her favourite teams live at least once.
In the summer, Brenda enjoys her flower garden and taking her dog, Ella, for walks.
Just like all STRIDE team members, Brenda participated in the infamous “STRIDE Interview” in order get to know her better. She was hesitant at first, but we LOVE the fact that she went for it anyway!

A. I am very good with a gun!!

A. Travel with my kids and grandchildren to Disneyland or Barbados
