Paige is from Val Marie and grew up on a family-run cattle ranch in the saddle of a horse. Her and her siblings were always found running around outside, practicing roping, and getting into mischief. Both agriculture and sports have been a large part of her life. When Paige wasn’t outside caring for animals, she was heavily involved in volleyball, curling, baseball, 4-H, and track and field during her school years.

Her passion for agriculture carried into her studies as she learned even more about farm-to-plate while pursuing a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.

She continued participating in sports through her post-secondary career and was always interested in the relationship between what you put into your body and how it affects what you can get out of it. She channeled her passion for food and nutrition into achieving a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan.

As part of her formal studies, Paige completed an 8 month practicum with the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region focusing on clinical, community, public health, food service, and research areas. Through this experience, she gained valuable knowledge and skills in consulting clients through a variety of circumstances including diabetes, heart disease, weight loss and balancing nutrition goals with individual lifestyles. Paige has a passion for motivating others, and in turn, watching them discover just what they are capable of!

Paige officially fulfilled the requirements of the Canadian Dietetics Registration Exam in May of 2016; giving her Registered Dietitian status with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association.

paige-6In her personal time, Paige loves enjoying new adventures with friends as well as spending time with family back home on the ranch in the seat of a saddle. She is always up for new ways to stay active and keep her muscles thinking including kayaking, hiking and golfing.
