Taryn

Taryn was born in Wainwright, AB and grew up most of her life in Kamloops, BC.

She completed her BSc in Biology and BA in Psychology at TRU in Kamloops before moving to Saskatoon to pursue her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan; which she completed in 2020.

Sports has been a big influence throughout Taryn’s life. She has been actively involved as both an athlete and coach with basketball and rugby over the years, and she has worked as a trainer since she was 19 with Jr B hockey, lacrosse, and the CJFL.

In addition to sports, Taryn describes herself as having an odd assortment of hobbies and enjoys trying new things. She loves crocheting, reading, and baking as well as spending time outdoors in nature. She is looking forward to exploring Southwest Saskatchewan with her dog, Loki, and is particularly excited to be closer to the Cypress Hills.

Professionally, Taryn hopes to pursue her Sports Physio designation, hone her manual therapy skills, and achieve her needling and acupuncture certifications.
