What a Visit to Stride Looks Like
Physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, concussion care, vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and vertigo, dry needling, acupuncture, shockwave therapy and massage therapy all happen at 220 1st Ave NW. That means fewer trips to Regina or Saskatoon for specialized care.
Your first appointment opens with a conversation. We'll ask how your symptoms started, what eases them, what flares them up, and what you want to get back to. Then comes the physical assessment, which may include movement, strength, nerve and joint testing, or balance work, depending on your concerns. Wear clothing that lets us see and move the area.
You might see more than one of us, say a physiotherapist for your back and our massage therapist for your jaw. When that happens, we talk to each other about your care so the plans fit together.
We also offer custom 3D-scanned sherpa3D orthotics and custom OssKin knee braces, and we can help you choose an off-the-shelf brace from Thuasne, Push Med or Bauerfeind. Every recommendation starts with an assessment. If you don't need one, we'll tell you.
If your injury happened at work or in a car accident, bring your WCB or SGI claim number.
