Sports Injuries, Concussion and Dizziness Care in Swift Current
A shoulder that aches through a full shift, or a knock to the head on the ice: care at Stride starts with finding out what's behind it.

Pain, Injury and Movement Problems We See in Southwest Saskatchewan
You don't need a diagnosis or a doctor's referral to book physiotherapy in Saskatchewan. Bring the problem as you'd describe it: a knee that gives out on the stairs, neck pain that keeps you from sleeping through the night, dizziness when you roll over in bed. We see people of all ages and activity levels, from hockey players and runners to farmers, tradespeople, office workers, new parents and older adults.
Under one roof, the team offers general and sports physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, concussion assessment and management, vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and vertigo, and massage therapy, including prenatal, postnatal and jaw (TMJ) massage. Dry needling, acupuncture and shockwave therapy are there when they're useful to settle pain so it's easier to move. That range means you may not need to drive to Regina or Saskatoon for care that fits your problem.
Injuries from work or a car accident are part of what we help with too. We communicate with WCB and SGI and plan a return to work and daily life that's realistic for your job. If you have a claim number, bring it to your first visit.

How We Work Out What's Behind Your Pain
Your first visit starts with questions. We ask about your symptoms and how they started, what makes them better or worse, your health history, and how work, sleep and stress are going. Then comes a physical exam, which may include movement, strength, nerve and joint testing, or balance tests, depending on your concerns.
The aim is to rule out anything that needs medical attention and narrow things down to a few likely causes. If something should be checked by your doctor or a specialist first, we'll tell you and help you get there. Sometimes the answer is that you don't need an MRI, a brace or orthotics, and we'll say that too.
Before you leave, we'll explain what we think is going on, what you can do on your own, and roughly how long recovery is likely to take. The plan follows how your symptoms behave, not a standard protocol for a diagnosis.
