Connie Magnusson, Office Administrator

From Gull Lake to the Stride Front Desk

Connie grew up in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, and has been part of the Stride team for six years. What she enjoys most is meeting clients and seeing their progress from week to week, supporting them from the moment they walk through the door.

Family matters a great deal to her, especially her daughters and granddaughters, and she brings that same warmth to the front desk. If you're nervous about starting physiotherapy, she'll tell you to follow your physiotherapist's recommendations and keep up with your home exercises. Every Stride plan includes things you can do on your own between visits. Each physiotherapist on the team brings different strengths and training, and Connie enjoys working alongside a group focused on helping people get back to their normal lives.

Outside the clinic, she's happiest with something in her hands, usually yarn or a jigsaw puzzle. She's also a Baby Boomer who loves multiplayer online gaming. Every Wednesday evening she and her granddaughter log on and play together, a tradition the two of them share.

Connie works at the front desk of Stride Physio and Performance in Swift Current. You don't need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist in Saskatchewan, though some insurance plans need one for coverage.
