How Jory Works with You

Jory grew up in Eastend, Saskatchewan, and started Stride to give people in Swift Current honest, evidence-based care. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan from 2014 to 2019, then a master's degree in physiotherapy there from 2019 to 2021. Volunteering with Huskie Athletics sparked his interest in the profession, and he has since worked as medical support staff with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. He's spent the last four years in private practice.

His rehab style is goal-driven and built on coaching. Jory starts by learning what matters to you, like getting back to sport or keeping up with your kids. His role is to support and challenge you so you feel in control of your recovery.

He works with all ages and has a particular interest in vestibular rehab for dizziness and balance problems. Pushing back against health misinformation matters to him too. If you're nervous about starting, you have a voice in your care, and his job is to listen and build a plan with you. Off the clock, he's outdoors with his family hiking, biking, golfing or fishing. He can also juggle.
