Kelsey's Training and Approach
Kelsey grew up in Naicam, Saskatchewan, and moved to Swift Current in her teens. From 2011 to 2014 she trained at the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in Regina, starting in the full-time program and finishing the advanced therapy portion through part-time distance learning. After graduating in June 2014, she earned her RMT designation with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan that July.
Since then she's worked in chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics as well as multidisciplinary spaces, supporting people through pain, stress, injury and major life transitions. Prenatal care holds a special place in her work. Supporting people through the changes and discomforts of pregnancy is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.
Kelsey explains what she's doing and why, and she welcomes questions at any point so each session feels clear and fits what you need. She'll also talk about home care and regular visits, because she believes taking part in your own recovery matters over the long term. Outside the clinic, her world revolves around her family, dog included. She studied karate for years and was training for her brown belt when Covid interrupted testing. Someday she plans to go back and earn her black belt.
